Quantum Space Node Prototype Engineer / Innovation Fellow
🌌 JOB DESCRIPTION
Quantum Space Node Prototype Engineer / Innovation Fellow
(Intern or Entry-Level Engineer — Future Founder Track)
Location: Atlanta, GA (HQ) Division: Quantum Infrastructure & Micro-Node Systems Reports To: CEO / Quantum Node Program Manager Compensation: Competitive salary or stipend + bonus + future profit-sharing opportunity Status: Full-Time or High-Intensity Internship (10–14 weeks, option to convert)
🔥 ROLE PURPOSE
This is not a normal internship or engineering job. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to help invent the first intelligent micro-infrastructure system in the country, transforming everyday parking spaces into alive, dynamic, AI-powered urban nodes.
You will be the hands-on builder, problem-solver, prototyper, and designer behind the Quantum Space Node Lite™ (QSN-L) — a futuristic, low-cost, scalable system that blends:
hardware
software
sensors
AI
AR
electronics
and visionary design
Your work will directly shape the commercial product that will be deployed across the entire GGES portfolio and licensed nationwide.
You will literally help create a new industry.
🔥 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You are:
âś” A builder
You prototype fast, break things, fix them, and improve rapidly.
âś” A creative technologist
You can merge electronics, code, hardware, sensors, and imagination.
âś” A futurist
You think about what the world should look like and build toward that.
âś” An optimizer
You can reduce cost, simplify components, and make things elegant.
âś” A storyteller
You love explaining your creations, demoing them, and inspiring buy-in.
✔ A “make-it-work-at-all-costs” creator
You’ve built robots, drones, IoT projects, custom electronics, or anything unusual.
âś” A leader in training
You want to eventually lead a team, a division, or an entire product line.
We care more about your capability, curiosity, and drive than we do about a perfect resume.
🔥 ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Build the first functional QSN-L prototype.
Assemble and integrate:
camera module
edge compute board
LED AR strip
pressure micro-strips
air quality sensors
microphone array
QR/NFC engagement panel
enclosure & wiring
Optimize cost down to $2,500 total per node.
Program microcontrollers (ESP32, Pi Zero).
Train or integrate AI detection models.
Calibrate sensors and pressure strips.
Link edge hardware to cloud dashboard.
Implement basic:
vehicle detection
occupancy detection
dwell-time tracking
LED pattern activation
QR/NFC engagement automation
