    The Role:

    QuEST is looking for a candidate with a passion for Human Resources to partner with our business units supporting multiple clients and operations. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with high energy levels, great networking skills, capable of taking ownership, and adapting to the demands of a rapidly growing organization. They will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an agile, innovative, and collaborative culture.

    Job Functions

    The HR Business partner – Develop and implement HR/people interventions to drive business initiatives and deliver results. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for driving change and growth in the areas of departmental capability development, employee alignment, US Benefits, compensation, and US employment law. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP/ SUPPORT –
      • Develop programs to increase employee engagement, provide change leadership, talent development, career & succession planning, retention, and support process improvements.
      • Provide programmatic support and coach business managers to engage, retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their full potential.
    • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS - Provide guidance on employee relations issues, either by partnering with the internal HR compliance team or leading investigations/managing outcomes. Provide ongoing support to the business team on any people-related matters, policies, or procedures
    • COMMUNICATION - Establish and develop pro-active communication channels between individuals and groups – local & global Enabler team; business units. Ensure consistency in communications to implement solutions and help scale the business.
    • DRIVING ENGAGEMENT & SPECIAL PROJECTS - Project/Program Management activities for various HR initiatives including performance management, promotion processes, compensation programs, enhancement of employee satisfaction scores, rewards & recognition programs.
    • Support key programs like Employee training programs; various DE&I initiatives; internship programs
    • LABOR LAW COMPLIANCE - Ensure compliance to labor laws FMLA; ADA; EEOC; FLSA; posting requirements.
    • TALENT MANAGEMENT - Work collaboratively with cross-functional and global HR team members to drive annual performance cycles, employee engagement surveys, HR special projects, and broader HR/people initiatives.
    • Facilitation  Interventions/programs to utilize succession planning programs for key contributor and leadership positions, training and development programs to prepare future leaders for future roles, and leveraging internal development programs to build skills.

    SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

    • Change management & HR experience is highly desirable.
    • Good knowledge of US and Canada labor laws.
    • Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Ability to build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with business managers. Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate in leadership forums. Collaborate effectively with HR functions to solve issues.
    • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data and use it effectively to identify trends or issues, and provide solutions based on business needs.
    • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    Qualifications:

    • BS DEGREE - REQUIRED
    • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7-10 + years of experience
    • MS in HR or equivalent experience – Desirable
    • Team Spirit and a flexible mindset
    • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint – Required
    • Strong knowledge of US labor laws. Preferred knowledge of Canadian labor laws.
    • A professional, courteous demeanor on the phone and in-person
    • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships
    • Availability to travel within the United States
    • Like to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
