ROLE : TECHNICAL WRITER

LOCATION: REMOTE

DURATION : FULLTIME

ABOUT US

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting and maintaining various areas of test documents that require technical revisions such as; additions, updates, and technical specifications. Based on the classifications of programs and engine, documents will utilize specific templates.
• Writing Procedures and Processes
• Writing CDRLs
• Updating Manuals and Reports
• Creating Training Materials and Templates
• Writing Test Letters and Procedures for Engine Testing
• Creating and Updating Certification Documents
• Generating and revising technical documents such as; Instrumentation Documents, Certification Documents, and Teardown Documents
• Develop work instructions to ensure repeatability

REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL COMPETENCY):

• AS in a Technical field or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience
• Proficiency with MS Office is required
• Technical Writing experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
• Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
• Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
• Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
• Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
• Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
