    Job Description

    SALES AND MARKETING SUPPORT 

    Department: Sales & Marketing  Reporting To: Director, Sales & Marketing

    SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Under general supervision supports the day-to-day activities within Sales and Marketing department. Work with other departments and outside contacts to resolve issues and scheduling, involving sales and marketing. Work primarily with sales coordinators, sales reps, marketing personnel and customer service. Works on a combination of projects assisting with marketing tasks and sales team support.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.    Support Director of Sales and Marketing and all managers and representatives in all aspects of marketing, sales, project coordination, departmental operations and administrative duties. 2.    Required to be present in the work place during scheduled work hours Sales Support 1.    Process sales leads from tradeshows, enter into Salesforce and communicates leads to appropriate sales rep in a timely manner 2.    Keeps record of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for management and sales coordinators 3.    Sales rep reports 4.    Respond to sales rep inquiries and material requests 5.    Maintain sales rep records, contracts and inventory 6.    New rep start-up kits- pack, inventory, coordinate and ship. 7.    Coordinate sales trainings and tracks training materials and rep stock 8.    Maintain customer information for marketing purposes  

    MARKETING SUPPORT 1.    Literature Room inventory and organization 2.    Personalize Resource Guides and monitor delivery confirmation for each 3.    Label requests from shipping (for product) - update all current labels to ensure consistency with details/logos 4.    Responsible for coordinating direct mailings 5.    Maintains email database for Constant Contact and coordinates with MRP for new emails. 6.    Maintains MedResults contacts in MRP and act as MedResults liaison 7.    Tracks and files monthly magazine ads 8.    Takes notes from weekly sales and marketing meeting to summarize for Staff meeting report.

    TRADESHOW AND MEETING SUPPORT 1.    Coordinate meeting materials 2.    Pack and unpack meeting and lab materials 3.    Maintain meeting materials, including samples 4.    Lab preparation support, including forms, certificates, product samples, etc 5.    Communications regarding meetings 6.    Meeting materials shipments  

    GENERAL 1.    Perform required secondary operations. 2.    Complete documentation training, and disciplinary action. 3.    Communicate with coworkers at all levels 4.    Conduct and attend meetings.

    MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Back-up customer service in times of high demand. Perform other administrative duties as needed such as organizational tasks including filing.

    WHILE PERFORMING THE DUTIES OF THIS JOB: The employee will be subject to moderate physical activity or standing and/or walking for less than two (2) hours per day. The employee is regularly required to sit, also use hands and fingers for keyboard, phone, and to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands or arms and talk and hear. The employee frequently will use either one or both hands to firmly grasp, push and/or pull. The employee will occasionally reach overhead to grasp objects and lift or carry up to 40 lbs. The work the employee will do is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. It may occasionally be necessary for the employee to be around equipment and machinery and work in a warehouse environment. Ability to see 20/40 with both eyes together, with or without corrective lenses. The employee will have no or very limited exposure to physical risk.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and /or abilities required.

    EDUCATION: •    The ideal candidate preferably will have a Bachelor's degree and minimum of two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    SKILLS: •    Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. •    Must be proficient in Excel •    Excellent organizational and communication skills are key requirements of this position Ability to work independently to perform daily operating tasks Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. •    Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. •    Ability to analyze and solve problems. •    Employee development and performance management skills. •    Excellent communications skills are essential. •    Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. •    Ability to read, understand and accurately complete documentation in English. •    Ability to effectively communicate in English, information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees in organization. •    Ability to consistently present a professional appearance and attitude. •    Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customers. •    Ability to function in a controlled environment regulated by FDA cGMPs. •    Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed. •    Must maintain accuracy, consistency and quality in a fast paced, multi-task environment. •    Ability to accurately perform detail oriented work. •    Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously •    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and ability to perform these operations using units of American and metric measurement. Additional skill sets desired:  •    Self-motivated, self-starter, energetic, great customer service skills  

    EXPERIENCE: •    Two or more years’ experience in an administrative role. Preferably with a Sales/Marketing/Field Support role within an organization or equivalent. •    1 to 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. •    Basic computer knowledge (Windows platform). •    Word, Excel Access, and Outlook knowledge required.
