COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION. We’ve put together a compensation package that pays up to 135 basis points. You should never lose a loan to price here. PRIMARY CHARACTERISTICS Source and originate retail mortgage loans for QuestRock from 3rd party referral sources (realtors, builders, etc), managing the client experience from origination to closing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Establish a strong presence for QuestRock including but not limited to, developing relationships with realtors, builders, financial service providers and community groups.
• Participate in all steps related to the origination of a mortgage loan including but not limited to, meeting with prospects, counseling borrowers, and taking mortgage applications.
• Attend various rallies, luncheons, and events to raise referral source awareness of the QuestRock products and services.
• Learn various borrowing programs and processes and stay current with changes and new products.
• Learn and utilize various in-house technical systems and programs.
• Must at all times be able to meet any and all applicable qualifications and standards required for MLO licensing under the SAFE Act. Employee must remain current on any and all applicable registration, licensing and training obligations required under the SAFE Act and/or any other state, federal or local laws pertaining to MLO certification or standards.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) • 1 year retail loan origination experience and Must be licensed through the NMLS **Or Registered with the NMLS if coming from a bank. • Knowledge of financial aspects of mortgage origination and processing. • Strong sales skills with ability to cold call and penetrate new referral sources for leads. • Strong computer skills. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Entrepreneurial mindset. • Must possess superior customer service skills. • Excellent listening skills
