We’re looking for an experienced auto lube technician who is ready to give our service customers an excellent experience. You must be able to rotate tires, change light bulbs, change oil and other fluids, and perform other general maintenance duties to be successful in this position. Although not required for this role, having knowledge of the inner workings of various car models is helpful. We prefer that you have prior experience working as an automotive or lube technician. Responsibilities: • Track oil inventory and part usage, place reorders as necessary to keep the shop stocked • Offer suggestions to consumers for additional services based on mileage and vehicle history • Document all service procedures performed and parts installed or replaced • Perform oil changes and fluid checks on customer vehicles, including draining and replacing engine oil, checking and filling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids • Ensure the shop floor and other work spaces are clean, and follow all safety guidelines as required Qualifications: • Ability to operate vehicle lifts, tools, and other garage equipment safely • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds (or more) is required • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) • Experience working on automobiles or as a lubricant technician of a year or more is preferred • This position requires excellent customer service skills Compensation: 20 - 30 hourly
