You will lead a team of employees to execute warehouse, inventory, and order processing operations while maximizing productivity and minimizing costs.

    OBJECTIVES FOR THIS ROLE:

    • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations
    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
    • Build-up and refine existing processes and procedures to develop and enhance the organization’s internal capacity
    • Analyze information to make data-driven business decisions and report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee operational processes, systems, and infrastructure while looking for improvement opportunities
    • Manage day-to-day activities to ensure orders are fulfilled, including order processing, inventory procurement and receiving, warehouse picking and packing
    • Monitor and track returns to identify causes and improve processes to limit returns due to order processing errors
    • Forecast inventory needs and engages with vendors for inventory purchases, issues, negotiations, and tracks vendor performance
    • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in our inventory management system
    • Engage in cost-benefit analysis and monitors expenses
    • Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise and review employees against those expectations
    • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
    • Contribute information and recommendations to operational strategic plans and priorities

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in program/operations management, business administration, or related fields
    • 1+ years proven experience leading a team
    • Experience in fire safety, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, production, or distribution environments.
    • Superior attention to detail, strong organization skills, and great time management
    • Strong - decision-making skills, especially in high-stakes situations, always with our customer’s and our company’s best interest in mind
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution experience
    • Ability to conduct research, respond to timely inquires, and present written/oral briefings
    • Desire to make a positive impact on day one

    EXPERTISE IN ANY OF THESE AREAS IS A PLUS:

    • Working knowledge of software programs including, Cin7, QuickBooks, Ship Station,
    • Knowledge of life safety or fire protection industries
    • PMP certification
    • Bilingual communication skills (Spanish preferred)

    SALARY AND BENEFITS: $50,000 to 70,000, commiserate with experience. Benefits include company health insurance (health, vision, dental), 401K plan, and up to 20 paid days off.
