    Job Description

    Fast paced International procurement position responsibilities include sourcing industrial equipment and parts from suppliers/ manufacturers. Negotiate best price, quote overseas end users, secure orders, place orders with suppliers and monitor orders to fulfillment. Attention to detail, knowledge of international Incoterms, international transportation preferred. Looking for a well organized self starter / fast learner, proficient in email correspondence and customer serviced oriented.

    Quinta Raddison, Inc is a multinational company supplying spare parts to heavy industry around the world since 2005. Quinta Raddison purchases spare parts from North American manufacturers, and sells them to customers throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australasia, and South America.

     

    JOB OVERVIEW

    Combined purchasing, quoting, and inside sales position in a fast-paced office environment. This job would be appropriate for someone looking to gain experience in the field of purchasing and international trade.

    Job Type: Full Time

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

     

    · Identifying and sourcing products domestically in the most cost-effective way possible for servicing heavy industry worldwide.

    · Quoting end users as quickly and competitively as possible, preferably within 24 hours, but always being mindful of bid close dates.

    · Must be able to pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

    · Buying efficiently from the correct source and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.

    · Placing Purchase Orders with local suppliers and monitoring the status of each order.

    · Monitoring freight by air or sea and keeping clients updated with status reports.

    · Negotiating pricing, contract terms and agreements with suppliers.

    · General customer service-related duties.

    · Clear communication via email and telephone.

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    · University Degree preferred (or) equal job experience.

    · Entry level (or) 1-2 years purchasing experience.

    · High attention to details and procedures.

    · Product experience or technical knowledge of industrial market would be useful.

    · Outgoing and willing/able to demonstrate confidence and a strong work ethic.
