      ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR – QUIXOTE STUDIOS – WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA

    Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and Television studios and is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join the team. This position will be responsible for assisting the A/R team with receivables, reporting, and administrative tasks, while maintaining best practices and confidentiality both internally and externally.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills in an environment that demands exceptional performance. This is a great opportunity for an analytical Specialist looking for challenges within a fast-paced, entertainment growing company.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Maintain accurate customer records in NAV accounting software and other internal systems
    • Batch and post customer invoices to NAV from all departments’ systems
    • Follow up on overdue customer accounts to facilitate expedient payments
    • Process credit card payments
    • Post customer payments (cash, check and credit cards)
    • Prepare bank deposits using online remote banking terminal as well as occasional bank runs 
    • Reconcile credit card payments with daily settlements
    • Uphold Quixote credit policy with customers and internal staff
    • Generate tenant rent invoices
    • Reconcile Petty Cash for all locations on a monthly basis
    • Assist with handling and reconciling invoice disputes with customers
    • Complete other accounting and reporting projects when needed
    • Protect confidentiality and security of financial, client and proprietary information at all times
    • Prepare reports and/or provide documentation as requested 
    • Complete all other accounting and reporting projects as necessary

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience required
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook/Gmail required
    • Experience with high volume work
    • Experience working with multiple accounting systems 
    • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrating accuracy in the execution of assigned tasks
    • Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a high-volume environment.
    • Must be reliable, professional and possess good judgment.
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and effective, clear communication skills.
    • Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
    • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • A working knowledge of production equipment and entertainment industry preferred.
