    Job Overview:  An attractive opportunity for a qualified, full-charge Accountant/Bookkeeper job responsibilities include maintaining client’s books using QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, inventory and issuing invoices & payments; collecting & interpreting client’s information to prepare financial statements; assisting CPAs with obtaining, organizing, evaluating and preparing tax returns using UltraTax, including U.S. & state income tax, sales & use and tangible property, and tax audits; performing financial calculations, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal; performing consultations on accounting, software & processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years relevant bookkeeping and payroll experience.
    • 2 years as a bookkeeper that worked for a CPA setting firm
    • QuickBooks™ experience and expertise.
    • The candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and various accounting software.
    • Competency and technical skill sets include (but are not limited to) strong knowledge of accounting principles and standard accounting processes for recording a company’s business transactions into a general ledger, account reconciliations and work paper preparation, prepare and post journal entries and ability to adapt work as required by level of engagement.
    • Managing Financial Transactions: Recording and categorizing day-to-day financial transactions, such as accounts payable (bills, invoices), accounts receivable (payments, invoices), and general journal entries, using accounting software.
    • Reconciling bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors
    • Record-keeping: Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
    • Be able to interface and effectively communicate with clients involved in various industries
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage work from multiple clients.
