Qwick is changing the way people work. Qwick is a well-funded and fast-growing startup looking for a full time Business Development Manager to acquire new clients in the hospitality industry - specifically hotels, catering companies, event venues, restaurants and golf courses. 

This role is for someone who is able to dive right in to a growing industry and make an impact. We are looking for an engaging, motivated, personable individual to join our team and empower the future of work.

You will own business / demand growth in NYC, including:

• Conduct research to identify the best Food and Beverage venues and companies to target, create leads, and make connections.
• Leverage warm leads from the Marketing team to close the deal in person or over the phone
• Network with local hospitality groups and be the face of Qwick for your city
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients to close deals
• Contribute to the knowledge pool and share best practices with peers across the US
• Help businesses to better staff their establishments by signing up for Qwick and posting their first shifts on the platform

Qualifications

• Capability to plan and close deals with complete autonomy
• You believe ‘No’ means they don’t completely understand what you’re selling, and that ‘Maybe’ leads to ‘Yes’ leads to ‘This Is Amazing!’ in a sale
• Self motivated - you have an inner hunger to get deals done, because you believe in what you do, and are proud of the products you represent
• An eagerness to learn, grow, explore, and hone your sales skills, and share those learnings / learn from your talented peers
