Qwick is changing the way people work. We leverage technology to empower Food and Beverage professionals (banquet servers, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers ) to connect with highly rated businesses (catering, hotels, venues, restaurants).
As a Web Developer/Designer, you will be responsible for the look, layout, and features of the Qwick website. You’ll need the creativity, drive and experience to provide the planning, design, implementation and maintenance for the site. You’ll envision and create user experiences that are not only visually stunning but also, highly functional and accessible.
Job duties and responsibilities
Hands-on production of sophisticated multi-page web experiences
Research and design concepts for the web that are responsive and highly functional
Strategically develop information architecture for qwick.com and other landing pages for events, promotions, partnerships and other marketing purposes
Extensive web publishing, including the creation of web graphics
Proofing and reviewing experiences prior to launch and ensuring the highest quality is delivered
Optimize web content, being adaptive to test results and research
Follow and maintain brand identity standards
Be a self-starter with the ability to create unique, thoughtful designs
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web Designer or similar role
Experience with responsive layout and design
Excellent knowledge of basic coding, CSS and HTML
Proven ability to take a project from concept to launch with a strong understanding of the process throughout
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Abstract, Figma and Invision
A keen eye for consistency, color, typography, and a perfectionist attitude towards subtle details
Knowledge of current trends in design and technology
Should be familiar with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, project, teamwork, time management, and multi-tasking skills
