Summary

We currently have openings in our Research and Development Department for Chemist. The R&D Chemist is responsible for: converting product concepts into physical products, conducting testing, writing and executing all methods validation studies, & conducting plant trials. Candidates should be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for candidates that have “can-do” attitudes and have the following:

• Preparing laboratory solutions
• Assisting in development of cleaning procedures
• Maintaining /cleaning R&D equipment and production equipment after R&D use
• Performing routine testing of new products under development
• Assisting in sending test samples to outside laboratories
• Assisting in Batching and Filling line trials
• Compiling of R&D Data, Results, and Observations
• Maintaining accurate data records in a laboratory notebook
• Knowledge of and adherence to, GMP regulations
• All other duties as necessary

Candidates should be detail-oriented, an innovative thinker, a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for candidates that have a "can-do" attitude and have the following:

• Chromatography, formulation & cleaning commercial pharmaceutical equipment
• Experience in a chemical laboratory (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• BS in Chemistry or related field, preferred
• cGmp experience is a plus
