    Our client, an product distribution company, is seeking a detail-oriented R&D Manager.

    The ideal candidate with expertise in consumer products, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of hardware and software development projects related to product development, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure all production schedules, milestones, and deliverables are met on time and within scope.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage communication with external manufacturing partners, ensuring clarity on project requirements.
    • Oversee strict adherence to production schedules, from prototyping to mass production, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate certification, packaging design approvals, and final product inspections to maintain quality standards.
    • Lead app development sprints, when applicable, ensuring timelines are followed and cross-functional communication between UX and software teams remains aligned.
    • Gather requirements for internal software portals and manage project plans to ensure they meet organizational needs.
    • Oversee the project management board, monitoring tasks, budgets, and timelines for all projects.
    • Lead and organize daily stand-up meetings to track progress and troubleshoot potential issues.
    • Ensure smooth project execution for website development, facilitating effective collaboration between design, development, and marketing teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in R&D project management, with a focus on hardware and software development.
    • Must have leadership experience, managing minimum a team of 10.
    • Familiarity with factory communication, sprint management, and website development is highly preferred.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective cross-functional team coordination.
    • Experience managing both internal teams and offshore teams to ensure timely deliverables.
    • A proactive, problem-solving mindset, focused on driving high-quality project outcomes.
    • Results-driven with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
