Position: R&D Technician
Contract Assignment: 12 Months (Potential Temp to Perm)
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Schedule: Business Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $25 - $30 hourly, paid weekly.

Position Summary: This role will primarily focus on performing mechanical design verification testing and supporting related R&D activities.

Job Purpose: Under limited supervision, this position supports R&D engineers, scientists, and project teams in the development, testing, and analysis of products, materials, processes, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct test method and equipment qualifications.
• Perform mechanical design verification testing in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation following established procedures and best practices.
• Integrate quality and compliance into all aspects of work.
• Ensure all testing and documentation meet regulatory and internal quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of related hands-on testing experience.
• Proficiency in test methodologies and data documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical directions.
• No chemistry background required.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Use of computers and technology.
