As a result of significant ongoing business growth we have an opening for an Industrial Sourcing Specialist in our Lawrence, Pa. (South Hills of Pittsburgh) location.

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Creative sourcing/procurement of industrial tooling, abrasives, and MRO products across multiple categories to improve efficiencies and reduce costs for our customers
• Proactive management of our vendor base to provide customers the best product value
• Providing alternative sources as appropriate to achieve cost reduction while maintaining product quality
• Continual analysis of product lead times in order to meet customer deadlines
• Placing customer orders within lead time requirements to prevent stock outs
• Identifying ongoing opportunities for additional product sales within existing customer base to include customer trials for new product design and testing

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2-5 years experience sourcing/procuring applicable products, preferably in an industrial setting
• Strong industrial product knowledge
• Creative problem-solving skills and proven customer service orientation and (must be both responsive and proactive)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets and pivot tables)

We have been in business for 45+ years and provide a team-oriented environment with growth opportunity. This full-time position is part of an established team in a fast-paced environment and an opportunity for account management/site support at our customers' facilities in York, PA. The successful candidate will manage on-site customer support of day-to-day functions related to inventory levels in computerized industrial dispensing equipment (Auto-Crib Systems) and effective delivery of our integrated supply services. He/She will also learn about products used by our customers in order to support cost-savings projects and additions of new products based on customer inquiries and growth. This position requires support at both Flinchbaugh Engineering and JCI-ACE, both in the York, PA area. Mileage reimbursement is included in compensation.
