Job Description
Small progressive CPA firm is looking for an accountant or CPA Candidate to join our team as an Accountant and Tax Preparer. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately reviewing and analyzing client accounting records and tax information as well as preparing both individual and business returns. Must have experience in Bookkeeping and/or accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately analyze and prepare individual and business tax returns
· Effectively communicate with clients directly to obtain necessary information
· Assist various clients with tax planning and estimated tax payments
· Analyze and review clients accounting records for accuracy and adjust as necessary
· Record accruals and deferrals
· Prepare and process payroll
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting
· 3+ years of recent accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Experience with QuickBooks, online and desktop
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills
