Position Description:
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist our insurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer queries, dealing with complaints, policy changes, and general office admin items. You may also be required to review a customer’s policy and direct calls to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded. Our ideal candidate should have a friendly and professional demeanor, good communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Identify the customers’ needs and provide a solution in the most efficient manner to achieve client satisfaction
Execute policy changes
Process policy payments
Effectively manage large amounts of incoming tickets, calls & emails
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the correct methods/tools
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
Keep accurate notes of customer interactions and verify customer’s contact information
Maintain divisions filing system.
Job Requirements:
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
Attention to detail, confidentiality and accuracy are key requirements
Office Admin Tasks such as filing, answering phones, and communicating with other divisions.
Prior experience in insurance office is preferred but not Required.
