    My client is searching for a Business Development / Sales professional that can bring a strong understanding and knowledge of the IT staffing industry.In this sales role you will be responsible for developing new client relationships and determine how to partner with leading companies throughout the Austin market.This position is available immediately and is located in the greater Austin area.

     

    Essential functions:

    • Target and contact prospective clients by using a variety of lead generation methods to build relationships through professional communications. Knowledge of the local Austin market is highly preferred.
    • Build relationships with clients and define specific and strategic objectives regarding their IT contract and direct hire needs.
    • Provide a detailed and thorough understanding of client’s services and quantify the value and benefit to other team members.
    • Negotiate, prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    To be considered for this position, you must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, sales, marketing or related field.
    • MUST have 2+ years of professional staffing experience within the IT staffing niche.
    • Knowledge of the technical market in the Austin market.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve business goals.
