Job Description

The Raffles Butler is at the centre of every guest experience at Raffles Boston. This key role encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities from pre-arrival, arrival, in-house, departure and post-stay arrangements. The role ensures that the highest level of hospitality and brand standards are delivered. The Raffles Butler will strive to listen attentively, observe the little details, and personalise interactions with the aim to anticipate and be intuitive of residents’ needs and wants. An ambassador of the hotel, he or she will take the lead in delivering the renowned Raffles Butler service as well as in orchestrating the Raffles curated experiences, ensuring that the Raffles brand experience is fully expressed across the guest journey. A well-rounded and skilful individual, he or she possesses extensive understanding in front office, housekeeping and food & beverage, spa and other touch points.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as butler with experiences including front office, housekeeping and guest experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain performance under pressure
• Possess strong interpersonal skill and deep understanding of multi-cultural customs
• Creative and service oriented with keen eye for detail
• Results driven, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work under minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively lead and engage a diverse and changing workforce
• Working knowledge of relevant software (Property Manager System, MS Office Suite)
