Finding information about available services after experiencing sexual violence is challenging for all survivors. In the U.S., for those who have limited English language skills or do not feel comfortable discussing their experience in English, the challenge is multiplied due to limited services. In response to this need, RAINN provides National Sexual Assault Hotline (NSAH) services in Spanish at rainn.org/es.
The primary responsibility of this new position is to increase the utilization rate of Spanish-language NSAH services through outreach, partnerships, and communication to Spanish-speaking communities. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 13 percent of the U.S. population are native Spanish speakers and are most comfortable speaking Spanish.
