A successful American Family Insurance Agency in West St. Louis County is seeking a motivated & qualified professional to join their team in the Account Advisor/Sales Producer role.

We are seeking an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through marketing, value-based conversations, and remarkable customer experience. The right candidate will be a self-motivated person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

To develop new leads, work with existing clients, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products.

Establish business relationships and centers of influence in key industries.

Establish strong customer relationships.

Understand and explain the ‘why buy’ of insurance to clients

Be a trusted advisor to new clients by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.

Discuss insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Compensation: $40,000 - $70,000

Requirements

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening

Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial protection plays in protecting clients from the unknown or unplanned.

People-oriented

Ability to multi-task

Ability to make presentations to potential customers

Organizational skills

Self-motivated

Detail oriented

Ability to work in a team environment

Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)

Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
