RAS Group LLC is seeking an experienced tax accountant to manage a team of four tax preparers.

In aiming to maintain and realize our vision, we are seeking a qualified experienced tax accountant to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a staff of four tax accountants, directing and monitoring workflow, and assisting with preparation work
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and exempt organization entity tax returns
• Assist clients with tax planning, estimation, and questions
• Analyze and review corporate client accounting records and financial statements
• Assist in evaluating efficiency and suggesting improvements for clients
• Advise clients in matters ranging from business entity options to accounting software implementation
• Prepare payroll reports, financial statements, and other miscellany for some corporate clients
• Review completed returns, financial statements, payroll reports, etc.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for this challenging and rewarding position, candidates must have:

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
• Current licensed CPA in state of Oregon, ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
• 5 years minimum experience working as an accountant in public accounting, or a sufficient level of experience in other settings to furnish the requisite knowledge and expertise, including managerial or leadership experience
• Ability to prepare Corporations, Partnerships, Exempt Organization, Personal, Fiduciary and Payroll tax returns.
• Technical strength in tax, consulting, and general accounting
• Advanced MS Excel ability
