    Summary: We are seeking a new Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) for the Northeast region of the US to manage and develop a 4th regional sales team. We are looking for a candidate that is up for a new challenge, enjoys building client relationships and believes they can be successful in developing, training and overseeing a team of BDMs. If you are self-motivated and enjoy the challenge of exceeding sales objectives and growth, then we invite you to submit your resume for consideration.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of group travel sales experience with a proven successful track record.
    • Strong Tour Operator experience required
    • Experience selling Group Tours | Affinity Groups | Group Cruises
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Strong organization and logistical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
    • Confident communicator with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Able to overnight 2-3 nights per week on average, including air travel.
    • Strong understanding of our niche: escorted group travel for affinity groups and travel agents.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interviewing, hiring, training and growing the Northeast region.
    • Manage and oversee the sales activities of BDMs.
    • Achieve maximum sales revenue growth within your team.
    • Create long-term customer relationships with existing and new clients in the region.
    • Analyze and prepare for future territory growth opportunities.
    • Prepare written paperwork, reports, territory analysis, price quotations and proposals.
    • Participate at company national sales meetings.
    • Service & sell to an existing direct account base from your current territory.
  • Compensation
    $90,000 per year
