    Position Summary:

    The RBT plays a vital role in the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based ABA services. Working under the direct supervision of a BCBA, the RBT is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans designed to increase skill acquisition and reduce maladaptive behaviors in clients with autism and related developmental disabilities.

    This position involves providing direct one-on-one therapy in home or community settings, utilizing ABA principles to teach communication, social, and adaptive skills. The RBT is expected to collect accurate and timely data, follow behavior intervention plans with fidelity, and maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clients and caregivers. The RBT collaborates closely with the clinical team to ensure treatment integrity and actively participates in ongoing supervision and training.

    The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, coachable, and committed to supporting meaningful progress for each client served.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Deliver one-on-one and/or group ABA therapy services to clients in home, school, or community settings as assigned

    · Implement plans developed by the supervising BCBA accurately and consistently (e.g., individualized treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, crisis plans)

    · Accurately collect, record, and submit session data and notes using designated ABA software systems by established deadlines

    · Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills

    · Maintain professional, compassionate, and respectful relationships with clients and their families

    · Maintain clear, timely communication with the BCBA Supervisor and appropriate team members regarding client progress, concerns, and needs

    · Participate in required supervision sessions, competency checks, audits, and performance evaluations · Attend and actively engage in mandatory team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development activities

    · Adhere to HIPAA regulations and BACB ethical guidelines

    · Represent the organization positively and ethically in all interactions with clients, families, and team members

    · Demonstrate accountability by seeking support when unsure or when challenges arise with clients, documentation, or technology

    · Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals and promote positive outcomes

    Qualifications:

    Education & Certification

    High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

    Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the BACB

    Experience

    Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities strongly preferred

    Prior experience working with or caring for children strongly preferred

    Experience implementing ABA therapy is a plus

    Skills and Competencies

    Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

    Strong observational, data collection, and documentation skills

    Proficiency with ABA software systems and Microsoft 365 applications is a plus

    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and initiative in all aspects of job performance

    Ability to remain composed, calm, and respectful under pressure or during challenging behaviors

    Commitment to delivering high-quality, consistent, and goal-oriented services

    Adherence to HIPAA and BACB professional and ethical standards

    Physical Requirements

    Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs. and engage in active play (e.g., sitting in the floor, getting up from the floor, kneeling, standing, walking, and running)

    Must maintain attention, alertness, and energy throughout sessions

    Adequate hearing and vision required for safety and observational tasks

    Current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

    HIPAA-compliant mode of transportation to client sessions

    Completion of required onboarding, ongoing trainings, and timely certification renewals

    Must own or have access to a personal device (phone, tablet, or laptop) compatible with required software

    Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
