    Job description

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.     Responsibilities:

    • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
    • Collect data and track progress on behavioral goals
    • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
    • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent and effective care
    • Support individuals in daily living activities (ADLs) as needed
    • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions and progress

    Experience:

    • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
    • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation
    • Experience in special education or related field is a plus
    • Understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is highly desirable
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
    • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is strongly preferred
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

    Job Type: Part-Time

    Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
