    Job Description

    Ramirez Company is a mid-sized construction company who specializes in commercial concrete. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts receivable specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day invoicing and collections for all customers. Prepare and submit AIA billings to multiple jobs each month using QuickBooks online and desktop with the highest level of efficiency. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry and have experience with Project Labor Agreement (PLA) Administration.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities (please read carefully)

    ·         Process, review, code and input daily outgoing invoices and incoming payments

    ·         Prepare and perform weekly AR report and runs and forecast future collection schedule

    ·         Research and resolve account value discrepancies promptly with customers

    ·         Collections on past due accounts

    ·         Collecting funds

    ·         Monitor incoming bank and credit card transactions daily to ensure AR system is up to date

    ·         Assist in receiving and tracking vendor/supplier preliminary notices and lien release requirements and submittals and releases.                including Conditional, unconditional, and final lien releases

    ·         Conditional waivers

    ·         Progress billing A/A

    ·         Cost coding and Job Costing

    ·         General ledger

    ·         Bank reconciliation general and payroll account

    ·         Change order and deductions

    ·         Yearend closures

    ·         Internal Audits

    ·         Communicate and work closely with the companies CPA

    ·         Communicate and work closely accounts payable

    ·         Answer phones

    ·         Filling

    ·         General office tasks

     

    Requirements (please read carefully)

    ·         Must have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks online and desktop

    ·         Minimum 4 years’ experience in receivables

    ·         Must have experience in the construction industry

    ·         Proficiency with Microsoft suite

    ·         Detail-oriented with strong and effective organizational and time management skills

    ·         Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels within the organization

    ·         Must be able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
