MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR
JOB SUMMARY
The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for processing of the loan from receipt of application through closing/funding of the loan.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND REQUIREMENTS
· We are currently seeking an experienced, highly detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor.
· The ideal candidate will have experience with FHA, Conventional & VA loans. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
· Review loan applications for accuracy and sending disclosures through encompass.
· Submit complete files to Underwriting based on Investor and/or AUS requirements.
· Process the loan from set-up through closing.
· Communicate with Loan Officer, Loan Officer Assistant, Manager, Borrowers, Attorney, Title Company, Realtors, Lenders etc. throughout the entire process.
· Order and review Title Reports, VOE’s, Appraisal etc.
· Compile and process all documents in a timely manner to meet projected close date.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize work and multi-task simultaneously.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
· Minimum two (2) years of mortgage processing, underwriting, originating or a combination of all aspects.
· Must be proficient with all guidelines and websites necessary to complete job functions.
· Proficiency in Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator (DU/DO), Loan Prospector (LP), and major Originating systems. Encompass experience preferred.
· Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
