    Together, Praxis and RCS are seeking Estimators to support major infrastructure programs in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

    Drive Cost Accuracy on Complex Capital Programs

    RCS is seeking detail-oriented and analytical Estimators to support planning, design, and construction phases of large-scale projects. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in independent cost estimating, contractor coordination, and change order analysis within public or aviation construction programs.

    Level II candidates will focus on execution and support, while Level III candidates will take on more leadership, coordination, and negotiation responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare independent cost estimates across planning, design, and construction phases

    Develop detailed estimates including labor, materials, and equipment costs

    Review and validate Engineer’s estimates, factoring in phasing, operations, and constraints

    Perform quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for systems and subsystems

    Analyze contractor bids and align with independent estimates

    Support or lead estimate reconciliation efforts with contractors and third parties

    Prepare constructability reviews to identify risks and cost impacts

    Review contract documents and evaluate cost implications of scope changes

    Assist (Level II) or lead (Level III) change order evaluations and negotiations

    Maintain historical cost data and support forecasting efforts

    Additional Leadership Responsibilities (Level III):

    Lead negotiation meetings with contractors and subcontractors

    Facilitate estimate review meetings and coordinate stakeholder alignment

    Provide guidance to junior estimators and contribute to team performance

    Take ownership of complex reconciliation and negotiation scenarios

    Required Qualifications:

    5+ years of estimating experience in construction or engineering projects

    Experience supporting estimating efforts and managing complex reconciliations

    Prior experience overseeing or mentoring team members preferred

    Strong understanding of construction processes and cost drivers

    Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and public agencies (FAA, LADBS, etc.)

    Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

    Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

    Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and accountability

    Technical Skills:

    Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    Bluebeam and On-Screen Takeoff tools

    Knowledge of Prolog or similar project management systems preferred

    Education & Certification:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

    Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) credential required
