Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Sunnyvale, TX 75182

Hourly Pay: $25.00

Contract Period: Indefinite

Schedule: 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. - Monday-Friday

ONE Elite Staffing is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our client's team.

Responsibilities for HVAC Technician:

Perform routine preventive maintenance of HVAC units, including cleaning, lubrication, adjusting, calibrations.

Repair and replace defective parts in units and equipment.

Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Repair and maintain HVAC units, flues, ducts, registers and filters.

Perform installation of heating and air conditioning systems.

Test and examine boiler operations.

Conduct boiler water quality test and treatment.

Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment as necessary.

Comply with organization and city safety standards.

Identify maintenance risks on equipment.

Ensure compliance with occupational Health and Safety Act and appliance standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

7+ years of work experience as an HVAC technician.

A valid license for HVAC technicians.

Current driver’s license.

Certification or associate degree from an HVAC program at a technical school.

A proper driver’s license.

Working knowledge of boiler systems.

In-depth knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.

Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.

Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
