Mechanical Technician

Job Description:

Install, test and commission mechanical systems and equipment.

Performing preventive maintenance tasks on a schedule basis to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.

Conducting routine inspections of machinery.

Operating various tools and equipment to complete repairs.

Replacing mechanical components.

Following safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.

Keeping up-to-date with advancements in mechanical technology and industry developments.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role in an industrial environment.

Requirements:

Must have good mechanical aptitude.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and tools.

Familiarity with maintenance software and computer-aided design software.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work in shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime when necessary.
