    RDL Construction is a full-service commercial general contractor, providing traditional construction services under negotiated or competitive bidding arrangements. RDL is non-union, yet able to provide full union subcontractor support if needed. We are experienced in the following industries: Commercial Interiors & Office Improvements, Clean room and Lab renovations, Occupied Space Projects, Retail Stores & Banks, Medical Office Space & Specialty Clinics, Manufacturing Facilities, Industrial, Fitness Centers, Dispensaries & Breweries Job Type: Full Time Description: The Project Engineer role is designed primarily to provide administrative and clerical support to RDL design/build project teams, including estimating, project management, accounting and marketing efforts. Helping to land, begin and successfully complete projects. To be successful in this role you will need to be/have: - A minimum of 3 years of previous work experience, preferably in commercial construction - Highly organized - you will be coordinating and organizing contracts and construction documents - The ability and experience to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking with a sense of urgency while dealing with a variety of personality types. - General computer skills, willingness to expand the use of new technologies for scheduling and reporting. Core Competencies and Skills Required: - Organization and accuracy for all work activities, schedules - Competency with Microsoft Office and ability to easily learn new software required - Procore experience is a plus - Effective communication skills (spoken and written) and strong grasp of English language - Activities will include managing PCO (potential change order) Logs, Reference and Submittal Logs as well as processing submittals, phone work to support project teams, Word processing, some filing and clerical, significant phone work. Education Required: Associates or bachelor's degree preferred, or senior year college student studying Construction Management.
