Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The qualified candidate will perform service repairs on mainly golf carts but will include forklifts and other related material handling items from time to time in the shop. You will analyze and diagnose issues and perform what repairs need to be done.

You must have an good understanding of engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems. You will be responsible for properly filling out service tickets and time cards daily and do so within the procedures that are in place. Must have a clean driving record.

The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with customers: able to explain issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair the equipment properly

Carry out routine planned maintenance on golf carts, forklifts and related equipment

Have good communication skills and be able to follow company guidelines and procedures

Keep accurate repair order records and time cards

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Keep your work area clean and organized

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required

Associate degree or completion of a service technician training program is preferred

Minimum 3-5 years experience in industrial equipment repair

Must have your own tools

Strong customer service and communication skills are required
