Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced parts person to join our team. If you have experience in the forklift industry or related with strong organizational and communication skills, we want to hear from you.
The right person will be responsible for duties ranging from parts look up, invoicing, managing inventory to supplying needed parts to the service department. You will use your skills to secure the best prices on inventory and ensure a consistent balance between supply and demand. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and have good knowledge of forklift and industrial equipment parts.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with parts needs
Support the service department for parts needed for repair jobs
Acquire, invoice and ship parts
Manage inventory
Proficient in using a computer with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and use of the internet
Work well people and good communication skills
Take phone calls and assist customers
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in a Material Handling Dealership or related field
Must be familiar with forklifts, golf carts or related industrial equipment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage time and serve customers with little supervision
