An independent title company, associated with a major real estate brokerage, is looking for a skilled Senior Underwriter. Responsibilities: • Underwrite and type commitments, policies, and endorsements according to agency goals • Receive and respond to customer inquiries requesting status, rate quotes, title defects, clearing exceptions, or general information • Produce daily and monthly reports • Cooperate and collaborate with the marketing team to maximize agency profitability and effectiveness • Communicate with attorneys and staff on orders • Assemble policies, commitments, and endorsements for mailing and emailing • Prepare CPLs with accuracy • Monthly remittances Qualifications: • Ability to work well with others, meet deadlines, organize workload, and maintain accurate files • Licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina • Minimum 2 years of underwriting experience Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 yearly
