    SALARY GRADE (13/14): $67,496.00 – $83,574.40 DOE

    SUMMARY POSITION STATEMENT:

    The REACH Infant Learning Program is looking for a Pediatric Social Worker to join our team.

    As a Pediatric Social Worker, you will provide evaluation, treatment, consultation services and service coordination to children, birth to three years old, who experience social emotional delays or attachment disorders in development or delays in adaptive, cognitive, communication, motor development.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Arranging and completing assessments, evaluations, summary reports, and Individualized Family Services Plans (IFSP) to meet program requirements and support the identification and treatment of young children with social emotional delays or attachment disorders in development.

    • Providing hybrid tele-health and in person services within the client's home, including evening home visits; and driving during inclement weather conditions. Traveling to outlying communities to provide services as needed via small plane or ferries.

    • Performing other duties as assigned by the ILP Director.

    • Planning, designing and implementing therapy within a natural environment to meet agreed on IFSP goals in relationship with caregivers

    • Carefully listening and collaborating with the family and team to implement therapy and connecting with outside support services as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work or equivalent from an accredited university
    • Experience working in pediatrics and with children who experience developmental delay
    • Maintains and promotes a positive professional working relationship with all employees and partner agencies.
    • Experience providing services in infant mental health, home visiting and/or to diverse cultures desired
    • Knowledge of infant mental health for children birth to age 3 preferred
    • Licensed or licensed eligible Clinical Social Work, LPC, LMFT preferred  
    • Registry with the SEED with an assigned Level 10 or higher preferred.
    • CPR and first aid certificates, TB testing, fingerprint and background check clearance, current Alaska driver's license and auto insurance per agency standards

    Physical Requirements: Ability to perform sedentary and active work that requires some lifting. Visual acuity necessary to utilize a computer monitor throughout the course of a normal workday. Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding activities and operate general office equipment.

    Working Conditions:  Work is performed at the REACH office, client homes, and requires traveling to home visits, evening visits and may include travel to outlying communities by small planes.
