    • Multiple opps / locales available
    • Community Health / Outpatient setting
    • Potential 4 day work week available
    • About 20 patients a day
    • Comp 240-250K plus bonus that could go up to 290K range
    • Seeing all ages but little Peds
    • 4 weeks vaca plus 9 pd holidays

    GENERAL PURPOSE: Under general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the physician is responsible for quality and completeness of assigned medical services at any of the corporation clinic sites.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

    • 1) Examines, diagnosis, prescribes and administers treatment to patients
    • 2) Supervises and directs family nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other mid-level providers
    • 3) Oversees the performance of nursing and other support personnel
    • 4) Reviews laboratory, x-ray findings and diagnosis other tests
    • 5) Documentation/Completion of EHR/Medical Records and keep case histories in accordance with the corporation’s procedures
    • 6) Participates in consumer education and in-service training for support personnel
    • 7) Meets all the contractual requirements
    • 8) Quality of care (Quality Measures) and participation in Peer Review
    • 9) Other physician duties as assigned by supervisor

    PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • 1) Must hold MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school 2) Must have completed and approved internship
    • 3) Must hold a valid California State Physician and Surgeon License
    • 4) Must be Board Certified or Board eligible
    • 5) Current CPR certification
    • 6) Must be sensitive to the corporation’s diverse patient population
    • 7) Demonstrate clear knowledge of clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols

    COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS:

    • 1) Must have neat and legible handwriting
    • 2) Must be able to interact with patients, vendors and co-workers courteously and calmly
    • 3) Ability to communicate well with the public

    WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Works well with patients, co-worker and vendors in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirement:

    • 1) Must be in good health and able to lift up to 40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs (on wheels)
    • 2) Must be able to work on feet the majority of the day without tiring
    • 3) Must be able to hear adequately to auscultate B/PS
    • 4) Must have vision which is adequate to read increments on tuberculin syringe accurately
    • 5) Must have high manual dexterity and tactile sensation on fingertips
    • 6) Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, bend, squat and sit, and twist/turn
    • 7) Routinely exposed to blood borne pathogens and may be subjected to verbally and/or un behavior patients
    • 8) Routinely exposed to contagious/infectious diseases
