We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Weekend Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility on Saturdays and Sundays. The ideal candidate is customer service-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Please Note, this is a 1099 contractor position-not a direct employee
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and ensures the safety of the lobby area
- Ensures that no resident leaves the building unattended
- Stays with residents until alternate staff relief arrives
- Makes copies as assigned
- Ensures that visitors sign in
- Works with a minimum of supervision. Must function independently, have flexibility. personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, co-works, support agencies and outside agencies
- Must treat all residents and co-workers with dignity and respect.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly and emotionally upset residents.
- Demonstrates awareness of safety issues and maintains a safe environment throughout the facility
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Entry Level (0-2 years)
- Prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with basic computer systems (email, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
- High School Diploma/GED
