Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will help manage the organizations safety programs as well as help support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing/organizing inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts .

Responsibilities

Collaborates with Management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures

Coordinates the safety programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment

Evaluates the effectiveness of safety programs

Review current saftey training and recommends revisions, improvements and updates

Submit recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety program including Emergency Prepardness, accident prevention, general saftey and risk management

Stops operations and activity that could harm staff or equipment

Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents and health problems

Shares environmental safety information with appropriate levels in the organization

Endures compliance with federal, state and local safety laws, regulations, codes and riles

Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Excellent management and supervisory skills

Extensive knowledge of company saftey policies and applicable Occupational Saftey and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards

Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred

Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

Ability to work with limited supervision

Excellent organizational and time management skills
