    Recovery Monitoring Solutions is a leading provider of treatment and offender monitoring services, with corporate offices in Dallas, TX.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Conducts or assists in conducting individual and group counseling sessions and instructional programs.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    o   Assist the Court Liaison with presentations to judges, attorneys, court personnel, probation staff, clients, and the public that feature services offered by the company.    

    o   Develop and maintain working relationship with judges, attorneys, court personnel, and probation staff to ensure acceptance and use of company services.

    o   Create, implement and disseminate the company’s menu of services.

    o   Implement procedures and systems in support of program goals, objectives and mission.

    o   Provide training and support to program staff for maximum operationalization of the treatment model.

    o   Facilitate a collaborative effort among members of a multidisciplinary team.

    o   Assist in establishment of clinically excellent treatment approaches and effective assessment of client outcomes.

    o   Identify and direct the implementation of quality improvement activities to assure compliance with Texas Department of State Health Services standards.

    o   Provide leadership and improved direct service to clients through promotion of team building, performance motivation and high morale.

    o   Interview prospective participants to determine appropriateness for the treatment program.  

    o   Ensure proper client program placement, monitoring, and provision of requested information.

    o   Conduct assessments and formulate diagnoses defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

    o   Apply the concepts of the 12-Step recovery model, motivational interviewing, illness management and recovery, evidence based practices, and strength based case management philosophies and strategies to criminal justice clients.

    o   Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of client assessments with procedures, forms, and reporting systems provided by the referring authority.

    o   Organize and distribute reports of client progress/conduct and other requested information to court and probation staff.  

    o   Respect and honor client rights and responsibilities while honoring professional boundaries and ethics.

    o   Assist in managing crisis situations by following emergency protocols/procedures and coordinating with the treatment team to apply interventions that support a trauma informed environment for clients and staff.

    o   Prepare the program in advance for compliance reviews from all licensing and regulatory authorities.

    o   Promote safety measures for protection of clients, staff and property.

    o   Adhere to mandatory client exploitation reporting laws, HIPAA requirements, and other applicable state and federal regulations.

    o   Provide court testimony.

    o   Adhere to recovery principles.

    o   Impart knowledge of risk management, evidence based practices and systems of client care.

    o   Other duties as assigned.

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    o   Licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) as a LCDC.

    o   Three years providing substance abuse treatment services.

    o   Intermediate computer skills.

    o   Clear criminal background
