ROLE SUMMARY: 

RED RHINO is hiring a Mobile Application Developer, with a strong affinity for front-end development as well as backend architecture.  This role will work within our growing technology department.  Working remote is available if applicable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile software solutions.

• Assist and design proactive UX practices. 

• Develop and document requirement specifications, proposed solutions, detailed designs, project plans, system impact analysis and proof of concepts. 

• Program, test, build, integrate, and implement web based multi-tier applications of varying complexities. 

• Maintain and support production projects while addressing feedback from employees and/or customers.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 3+ Years front-end software development experience mobile software development for iOS and Android 

• Strong understanding of design patterns: Creational, Structural, Behavioral 

• Proficiency with both native and web-based mobile applications

• Strong proficiency with Swift, Swift UI, React Native, Flutter, Android SDK and/or Xamarin

• Proficient with XCode, Visual Studio, and/or Android Studio IDEs

• Proficient with JavaScript frameworks/platforms such as Vue.js, React, Angular, or Nodejs

• For web, proficiency with NPM, Webpack, Gulp, or similar task runners 

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD) 

• Experience with Git for source controlPage Break

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Demonstrate a proficient understanding of the full technology stack involved for developing and maintaining mobile applications and web project.

• Understanding of all the application layers, common pitfalls, and implementation of best practices in respect to design and security.

• Project management experience 

• Experience creating cloud-based applications.

• Experienced with CI/CD/DevOps tools and best practices. 

• Experienced in good user interface design and coding practices, especially in a mobile environment. 

• Experience in responsive design for multiple screen sizes 

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

BROWNIE POINTS AWARDED FOR:

• Experience with multi-platform native development using React Native or Xamarin

• Experience developing XR applications (ARKit, ARCore).

• Experience working with Mapbox or similar SDKs

• Experience developing Progressive Web Applications

• Experience with Tailwind UI or Bootstrap frameworks

• Proficiency with ASP .NET Razor Markup and/or Blazor

• Experience with AppCenter and/or Jira
