SALES PROFESSIONAL – LOOKING FOR AN ARCHITECT SALES PERSON WHO LOVES BEING IN FRONT OF PROSPECTS. THIS IS A CAREER OPPORTUNITY WHERE THE RIGHT PERSON CAN EASILY MAKE WELL INTO THE SIX FIGURES.
Office Location: Westfield, NJ. This position requires frequent car travel to clients, prospects, and job sites.
We are seeking a Sales Professional who can develop a firm understanding of a client’s needs, determine their spatial requirements, and develop a very basic schematic layout.
This go-getter needs to have a “sales hunter” instinct to help grow our business throughout the Automotive, Industrial, and Commercial sectors of New Jersey. The Sales Representative is expected develop a high-level knowledge of our services and our sales process.
This individual, as with our entire REDCOM team are expected to attend all company functions as well as networking events and meetings. This position works very closely with our internal engineering and estimating departments. To fully support our clients, this individual will need to have a vested interest in Schematic Architecture and to quickly obtain the ability to handle basic sketching. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· This person will be expected to develop and cultivate their own pipeline by meeting people, cold calling, managing incoming leads, and leveraging existing relationships. This person will be solely responsible for developing their own pipeline and hitting an annual sales goal. Responsible for managing all aspects of Automotive, Industrial & Commercial development in New Jersey
· Develop, manage, nurture and collaborate with landowners, brokers, lenders and other deal source networks.
· Financial analysis of potential land acquisitions.
· Maintain productive relationships with architects, attorneys, engineers, township officials, vendors and community partners to originate and execute projects.
· Cold calling, sales canvasing, and in person presentations.
· Cultivate, manage and maintain a pipeline of sales leads and existing clients.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills and follow up
· Ability to understand and explain basic square footage calculations and review proposal for completeness.
· Self-Starter that exercises independent judgment and decision-making to resolve day-to-day operations
· Demonstrates resourcefulness; can sell ideas and obtain acceptance and action.
· Bachelor’s degree in architecture
· High aptitude for technology
· Strong negotiating and collaboration skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
· Ability to learn AutoCad and REVIT, and sketching capabilities
· NJ Real Estate License is a plus, but not required.
