    • Position: Unarmed Security Guard supporting federal wildfire relief efforts
    • Perks: REDCON offers paid vacation, paid sick time, 11 paid holidays, and the gear you need to be successful! Must return employer's gear at end of employment.
    • Salary: Compensation on SCA covered Federal Contract consists of $17.20 Base pay +$4.57 Health and Welfare for total pay rate of $21.77; for all hours worked up to 40 hours per week. Any time worked over 40 hours in the work week is paid at 1.5X the base pay rate.

    Job Summary:

    • Monitoring staff and contractor/vendor traffic- greeting everyone in a friendly and professional manner
    • Ensuring sign-in and sign-out procedures are complied with
    • Answers and screens incoming calls- directing to the appropriate staff and/or area
    • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining all required security documentation, which may include: Access and Exit Logs, Incident Report Logs, Inspection and Damage Reports for both vehicles and property
    • Intervene with non-lethal, passive means in the event of an incident

    Requirements:

    • Guard Card
    • 2 years of previous security experience preferred
    • Proficient in English (written and spoken)
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must be in good physical condition, able to complete frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping
