About the Role:

Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced dental team in a patient-focused environment where your skills and passion for oral health truly make a difference.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures and treatments

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients

Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed

Record patient medical histories and document treatment notes accurately

Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices

Manage dental materials, supplies, and equipment inventory

Support front office staff with scheduling and patient communication as needed

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or license in New Jersey

Experience with chairside assisting in a dental office setting preferred

Proficiency in taking dental radiographs (X-ray certification a plus)

Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and infection control protocols

Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-centered chairside manner

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
