    Job Title: Service Technician

    Job Summary:
    Our company is seeking a dedicated, skilled Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of industrial desiccant dehumidification rental equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and uptime in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have HVAC technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach to deliver efficient and effective service. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize assignments based on urgency and customer demands.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Conduct thorough assessments and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions, both in the field and at the company's facility.
    - Perform complex repairs and maintenance activities, including disassembly, replacement, testing, and reassembly of defective parts or components.
    - Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, minimizing equipment downtime of temporary rental equipment fleet.
    - Operate and maintain tools, instruments, and equipment required to perform service tasks, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and in optimal working condition.
    - Collaborate effectively with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical support, and deliver exceptional customer service.
    - Document service activities accurately and comprehensively, including repair history, parts used, and labor hours, in service management systems or databases.
    - Stay updated with industry and manufacturer's guidelines to enhance knowledge and proficiency in servicing different equipment.
    - Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment for both the technician and others on-site.
    - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service procedures, recommend solutions, and actively participate in problem-solving discussions to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications:
    - High School Diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational certification or formal training in industrial HVAC equipment is preferred.
    - Proven experience as a Service Technician or a similar role in the equipment or machinery industry.
    - Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
    - Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, software, and equipment relevant to the field.
    - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
    - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
    - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    - Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    - Availability to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs or emergency service requirements.
