  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary: This position involves hands-on CRM system configuration/updates/enhancements, end-user support, data quality management, building reports and templates, and managing dashboards, workflows, and security to drive business process automation.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities: **include the following. Other duties/projects may be assigned.

    • Serves as primary system administrator for the Salesforce CRM environment, managing day-to-day support and administration of Salesforce and related applications.
    • Train new users and enhance Salesforce skills across the organization by monitoring end-user usage of systems and performing daily administrative and user support tasks.
    • First point of contact for Salesforce support, including but not limited to user how-to and troubleshooting help.
    • Ensure sales data integrity and assist in updating sales data.
    • Develop management reporting tools to drive business insights and handle all essential administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
    • Support marketing activities generated through Salesforce.
    • Work independently with user community members to define and document development requirements.
    • Implement business process automation and collaborate with developers for program changes.
    • Plan and manage CRM enhancements.
    • Conduct regular internal audits and maintain system documentation.
    • Coordinate evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
    • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other software integrations.
    • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.

    Technical Skills:

    Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certification is a plus.

    Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.

    Strong understanding of the CRM platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.

    Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.

    Strong data management abilities. A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.

    Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce CRM and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.

    **Education/Experience : **A BS/BA is required, and marketing or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in marketing is a plus, as is exposure to multiple marketing disciplines. Experience in BTB, MBA, and engineering discipline is a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is needed.

    **Travel : **Travel is required up to 40% of the time in this position. Travel may be within the U.S. and internationally; therefore, a valid passport is required.

    **Language Ability : **Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, plane and solid geometry fundamentals, trigonometry, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    **Reasoning Ability: **Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have solid knowledge and competence in SalesForce CRM, database, Internet, order processing systems, and Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software.
