  • Responsibilities

    WHAT'S THE ROLE ABOUT? As part of our Human Resources Department, you'll be joining our payroll team as Payroll/Human Resources Administrator who is responsible for payroll processing & administration as well as general human resources support. This is an in person position and will require a presence in the office. 

    WHO YOU ARE

    • You'll have previous payroll experience within a premium or luxury retail environment in both the US & Canada
    • Experience working with both ADP TotalSource and Workforce Now is mandatory
    • Have an understanding of the Human Resources function
    • Deep knowledge of federal and state specific payroll laws in the US & Canada
    • Basic accounting and finance capabilities
    • You are well organized with good time management skills
    • Have great attention to detail and  with strong communication skills
    • Are a self-motivated and able to work autonomously

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    • Work in partnership with HR Manager and ADP payroll team to review bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions for both US and Canadian employees. Process special payroll and off payroll cycles as needed.
    • Pull electronic time clock data using electronic timekeeping system; Weekly auditing of time sheets for retail teams.
    • Assist in resolving payroll issues as they arise and implement procedures to mitigate future risks and errors.
    • Facilitate post payroll audit reporting.
    • Assist maintaining data integrity within all payroll and HRIS systems, regularly auditing work flow updates. Updating time and attendance tool as needed; change of location, manager, security group etc. removing terminated employees etc.
    • Manage monthly commissions processing; ensuring that new hires have been added to the pay-out process.
    • Oversee with new hire on-boarding process; sending applicable on-boarding links/information and properly inputting each new hire into HRIS system.
    • Work in partnership with UK finance team to complete fortnightly journal entries, monthly healthcare journal entries as well as provide specific reporting in Canada.
