REM Group Recruiting is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Regional Account Receivable Manager for their nursing home client! In this important role, you will provide fiscal oversight and education as well as effective internal controls for nursing home staff. Working closely with the organization’s CFO, the Regional Account Receivable Manager is responsible for managing all segments of the Medicare accounts receivable function either directly or indirectly through facility staff.

Regional Account Receivable Manager Nursing Homes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Oversees Medicare accounts receivable collections for assigned facilities;

Provides technical support and training and work direction to facility Business Office Managers as necessary;

• Applies A/R policies and procedures
• Manage/oversee Regional and facility account receivable staff
• Oversees billing procedures for all BOM’s and billers
• Participate in Mergers and Acquisitions
• Completes month end review analysis
• Complies with statistical analytical reports
• Reviews A/R aging with BOM and Administrator
• Reviews/audits resident trust;
• Gathers and interprets third-party reimbursement cost data and prepares cost reports, usually under the direction of the Vice President of Finance
• Assists Business Office Staff with surveys, government compliance, and any other internal/external compliance issues
• Special projects and other tasks as assigned

3+ years’ experience in health care preferable in Long Term Care environment

3 - 5 yrs. experience as Regional AR SNF
