(REMOTE) Customer Service Representative For Green Mattress Recycling
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking information, assistance, or support regarding our mattress recycling programs. Your role will ensure a positive experience while promoting sustainable practices and environmental awareness.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner
Educate customers on mattress recycling processes, eligibility, drop-off/pick-up procedures, and fees
Resolve complaints or issues efficiently and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department
Process orders, schedule pickups, and update customer records using our CRM system
Assist in improving customer satisfaction through feedback and proactive communication
Collaborate with logistics, operations, and compliance teams as needed
Support educational campaigns about recycling and sustainability
Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM platforms, email, and chat software
Problem-solving mindset with a positive, empathetic attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus
Experience in recycling, waste management, or logistics
Knowledge of environmental policies or circular economy principles
