    Well established, AS9100/ISO registered, precision manufacturing machine shop is looking for a motivated and focused 2nd Shift CNC Machining Team Leader to join our team.     The 2nd Shift CNC Machining Team Leader will lead a team of skilled machinists with the goal of maintaining an organized shop, high quality and on time delivery. This person will work alongside the President, 1st Shift Machining Supervisor, Sr. Process Eng, and Buyer/Planner to execute the schedule. In addition, the 2nd Shift Machining Team Leader will play a key role in continuing to foster the core company value of respect for everyone; our employees, our customers and suppliers.     Job Duties:

    Coordinate day to day execution of the shop on the 2nd shift.

    Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve manufacturing and support processes, practices, production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

    Oversees the manufacture of products to verify conformance to specifications.

    Support your team through multiple phases of parts production (Turning, Milling, Deburring, Inspection)

    Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.

    Support the training and development of the machinists.

    Perform Set-ups on Milling Machines, as required

    Assist with special projects

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate would have experience in a CNC machining environment with CNC programming or CADCAM knowledge.

    Experience with CNC machines, programming, and set-up.

    Ability to read and interpret blue prints.

    Ability to inspect parts using basic gauges and instruments.

    Experience diagnosing and correcting process issues.

    Fabrication, welding and manual machining skills will be beneficial but not essential.

    Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve shared departmental goals.

    Self-motivated.

    Ability to multi-task.

    Detail Oriented.

    Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English (in relation to safety, quality and manufacturing processes).

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
